Former Stoke City player Dennis Smith claimed that the current Stoke side is 鈥渢he best side they鈥檝e had since the 70s.鈥�
Speaking to Mark Pougatch after watching Stoke City defeat Sheffield Wednesday 2-0 to reach the League Cup semi-finals, Smith was full of praise for his side.
鈥淭his is a very well good club, run very well from top to bottom. They could get into Europe through the league this year.鈥�
