Super six for Liverpool
Liverpool beat Southampton 6-1 in the League Cup to book a place in the semi-finals.
Sadio Mane opened the scoring for Southampton within the first minute, but the visitors fought back with a returning Daniel Sturridge scoring two goals in four minutes. 鈥淭hat is why you wait for him,鈥� exclaimed Steve Claridge. Divock Origi scored a hat-trick, with Jordon Ibe getting on the scoresheet as well.
鈥淟ook at Jurgen Klopp鈥檚 face 鈥� it says 鈥榠sn鈥檛 this sweet?鈥欌�� shouts commentator Alan Green following the sixth goal.
Liverpool will now play Stoke City in the semi-finals, while Everton face Manchester City.
