Airstrikes against the so-called Islamic State gathered momentum this week as Britain joined the US led coalition in targeting IS positions in Syria. Opponents of the strategy however point to the absence of a plan to bring the conflict to an end. Philippe-Joseph Salazar belongs in that camp. He's a philosopher and professor of rhetoric at Cape Town University in South Africa. He has just written a book called - in French - Les Paroles Arm茅es - or Words as Weapons - about how to understand and combat terrorist propaganda. He's very critical of the different names that have been given to group: Islamic State, ISIS, ISIL, Daesh. Julian Marshall asks does it matter what they're called?
