The first NHS clinic aimed at helping people who suffer from long term fatigue, has opened.

Experts at the clinic in Newcastle say around a quarter of all GP consultations are in some way related to fatigue.

Roy is one of the patients at the clinic and he says fatigue.

"It's like being poisoned or having a really bad hangover most of the time [...] it's like having a battery that's flat all the time and trying to function with that." he told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio 5 live.

Roy describes how his fatigue affects his muscles and joints and leaves him feeling "stupid" a lot of the time as he can't understand things that he used to.
