France can win 'without Benzema'
World Cup winner Bernard Lama says France could win Euro 2016 without Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema.
Benzema has been suspended by the French Football Federation after being charged with conspiracy to blackmail in a sex-tape case involving teammate Mathieu Valbuena.
Lama, who won the 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000 with France, says the case is "terrible, it's not a good image for the national team", but he insists they have the strength in the squad to compete next year should Benzema not be available:
