Space curator applauds 'national event'
Doug Millard, space curator at the Science Museum in London, has described Tim Peake's flight to the International Space Station as an ''important national event''.
The former Army pilot is making history as the first official UK astronaut.
He is in the Soyuz space capsule alongside Russian Yuri Malenchenko and American Tim Kopra.
