Bayern Munich will be 'surprised' if Guardiola stays
German football journalist Raphael Honigstein says Bayern Munich will be “surprised” if coach Pep Guardiola decides to stay.
Guardiola, 44, says he will give “clarity” on his future at the Bundesliga champions next week.
Honigstein said: "Bayern tell you that if he says he will stay they would be surprised. It really is hope against hope because they believe he is off."
Guardiola is expected to have several suitors should he leave Bayern, and has been linked with Manchester City.
Honigstein said: "The City story won't go away and they must feel very confident. But it is a possibility that he might go on another sabbatical."
