'No joke' that plumber's truck is in jihadists' hands
A lawyer representing a plumber from Texas says his client has faced death threats after his old truck ended up in the hand of jihadists in Syria.
Craig Eiland said everybody thought Mark Oberholtzer, "somehow was connected to the terrorists" after the vehicle he sold in Houston went on to auction, and then to the front line in Syria - complete with his company name and phone number.
A photo showing the truck with an anti-aircraft gun being fired off the back soon went viral online.
"Everybody thought that he somehow was connected to the terrorists", said Mr Eiland, "he thought it was probably a joke. But it turned out it wasn't a joke and it wasn't funny."
Mr Oberholtzer is suing the car dealership for $1,000,000 in damages, but Mr Eiland insists money isn't his main motivation and he just wants people to know he has " no connection with terrorist groups in Syria."
