Conductor who helped Germany's reunification dies
The former conductor of the New York Philharmonic and the London Philharmonic orchestras, Kurt Masur, has died at the age of 88.
He was born in communist East Germany, and helped prevent bloodshed during the pro-democracy protests in Leipzig before the Berlin Wall fell in 1989.
