Leicester City fan scoops £5k after winning 1,000-1 bet

A football fan has won £5,000 after Leicester City topped the Premier League table at Christmas.

Keval Nakeshree put £5 at the start of the season on his team topping the league at Christmas with odds of 1000 to 1.

Leicester City ensured they are top of the Premier League at Christmas after beating Everton at Goodison Park over the weekend.

Keval told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio 5 Live that he has now collected his money and thinks his side can eventually "win the league".
