Everton player buys homeless people Christmas meals
A Premier League footballer has told 5 live he "feels strongly" about providing Christmas meals for homeless people.
Steven Naismith, who plays midfield for Everton, has sponsored the Whitechapel Centre in Liverpool, where many of Merseyside's homeless people go for a hot meal over the festive period.
Steven went on to say he wanted "to make a difference" because "a lot of people are in a position they struggle with" after the charity Crisis revealed one in four homeless people will spend Christmas alone this year.
