North Yorkshire farmer: I feel 'forgotten' after flooding
A former in North Yorkshire has told 5 live that she feels "forgotten" after the flooding.
Chantelle Astley from Acaster Selby said "nobody will help us", but she has to "keep it together for the children".
She was speaking after a weekend of flooding throughout the north of England.
Chantelle also said that she wishes her village had as much help as the city of York, which has been affected badly by the flooding.
Rescuers in York have been evacuating homes where water levels are still rising, and the Army has also been drafted in there.
"I appreciate it's a big city", Chantelle says. "But it funnels through York. And when it comes out the other end of York. It just goes out onto all the farmland."
