Hawkwind's Dave Brock pays tribute to Lemmy
Former band mate Dave Brock told 5 live Lemmy was "larger than life" and "had a great style of playing bass" after the Motorhead frontman died aged 70.
Brock, who played with Lemmy in the band Hawkwind, said when Lemmy joined the band "he didn't have a bass and we had to go to a second-hand shop to get him one".
Lemmy passed away at his home in Los Angeles, just two days after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer.
Known for his fast and furious lifestyle, Lemmy had been the only constant member of Motorhead since he formed the band in 1975.
