Boy, 10, uses pocket money to help flood victims

A 10-year-old boy from Lancashire said he was "really happy to help out" after using his pocket money to help victims of the recent floods.

Louie Houghton, from Lytham, was inspired after reading about the efforts other people were making to support those flooded out of their homes in Hebden Bridge.

His money was used to order essential supplies and arranged to have them delivered directly to to the town's centre.

Louis told 5 live he was "just that type of person" and wanted to do something to make a difference after the "horrible floods".
