Madaya resident: We eat leaves, cats and dogs to survive
Abdullah, who lives in the beseiged Syrian town of Madaya, said he is eating "leaves, cats and dogs" to survive.
As many as 40,000 people have been trapped in the rebel-held town which has been under siege by President Assad's forces since July. Aid agencies say conditions are "extremely dire".
Abdullah said "I want my voice to reach the outside world and get help, because we are dying".
According to the UN Humanitarian Co-ordinator, assistance should reach Madaya "in the coming days".
