Return to Garissa
Garissa University College is re-opening eight months after the attack by militant Islamists, Al-Shabaab, that left 148 students dead. Bashkas Jugsodaay from ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Africa reported from the town in the aftermath of the shootings and was profoundly affected by what he saw. Now, as the staff and students prepare for a new term, he's returned to the college with some trepidation.
