First UK doctors strike in 40 years
Tens of thousands of doctors in England have begun a 24-hour strike in a dispute with the government over planned changes to their pay and conditions.Thousands of routine operations and procedures have been cancelled. Two doctors on strike, Mei Nortley and Jonah Dearlove, say additional working days could put patients at risk.
