Sikh man arrested in Portugal threatened with extradition to India
A Sikh man from the West Midlands has been arrested in Portugal and is now threatened with extradition to India. Paramjeet Singh who was given asylum in Britain, was arrested last year while on a family holiday over claims he was involved with acts of terrorism back in India. His wife Pinky Kaur, says her husband is innocent and is urging the British government to intervene and help bring her husband home. A petition to stop him being extradited to India has been signed by over 20,000 people.
