US-Iranian businessman released from Texas detention centre
Bahram Mechanic was running an electronics company in Tehran and Houston, Texas, when he was charged with violating trade sanctions in 2015. He has now been pardoned as part of a US-Iranian prisoner exchange. His lawyer, Joel Androphy, says his client was a victim of US-Iranian tensions.
