Wendell Pierce: The Oscars show a 'lack of inclusion'
The actor Wendell Pierce, who stared in the Wire and Selma, has told 5 Live that the lack of diversity within this year's Oscar nominations is "disappointing" and shows there's a "lack of opportunity" within the film industry for black and ethnic minority actors.
He says it's important to stop, reflect and look at the "inadequacies" within film making. Pierce says it's time to look at the "lack of inclusion" and the "root causes" of the problem.
