US East Coast hit by a record-breaking snow storm
Ten US states have declared emergencies as a huge blizzard with freezing winds hits the east coast. The US capital, Washington DC, woke up to some thirty centimetres of snow. Forecasters say it won't ease until Sunday. Julian Marshall spoke to Jason Samenow, a meteorologist with the Washington Post.
