Youngest ever surfer rides famous Cornwall wave
A 15-year-old boy has become the youngest ever surfer to ride the world-famous Cornish Cribbar wave.
Kamron Matthews, from Newquay, Cornwall paddled out the quarter-mile distance alongside a group of experienced surfers, as spectators looked on from the nearby headland.
He said he felt "excitement for being on the wave" but felt "a little bit scared and a little bit nervous".
The teenager made a series of rides over his three and a half hour stint in the water, and said "it was a big step up for me".
