We bring the gig to you this evening with an exclusive session from Hereford's finest reggae-fusion collective Last Tree Squad as recorded at the Victory in Hereford.

The 8-piece band play hip hop influenced dub and lyrically they hone in on issues around us that aren't always that easy to talk about.

“Deep reggae vibes soaked in awesomeness, with slick raps and sick beats” - Andrew Marston, ѿý Introducing

Load Street studios

Load Street studios
Let's head to Bewdley and to the town's newest music landmark - Load Street Studios is a collaboration between two local musicians - James Dellin and Steve Carrigan.

James studied audio production under the tuition of Kylie Minogue's and Madonna's producer, Greg Fitzgerald, and Steve's talents have seen him perform around the country, including concerts at the Royal Albert Hall and live performances for the ѿý.

Danni Hunt went down to Load Street to take the tour.

ѿý Introducing in Hereford

ѿý Introducing in Hereford
This month's sessions were recorded at the atmospheric Victory in Hereford.

The pub, opposite the fire station, recreates the interior of Lord Nelson's flagship and has a galleon-looking oak bar complete with cannons and tonnes of ship paraphernalia.

The performance area is a double floor that takes you back to the battle of Trafalgar with galleys, ropes and rigging - all that's missing is the smell of gunpowder!

The landlord, Jim Kenyon, has also decorated the outside wall of the pub with a WW2 mural dedicated to Help For Heroes.

People's History Of Pop

People's History Of Pop
All this week here on ѿý Hereford & Worcester we're collecting your musical memorabilia - and sharing your stories of big gigs and musical legends.

Tonight we hear the story about the time Eric Clapton lost a bet and ended up having to play at a village wedding at The Crown in Martley.

ѿý Hereford & Worcester's Dave Bradley happened to be one of the guests - and recalls Clapton forgetting the words to Layla!
