This week's Assignment tells the story of children who have been abandoned by their parents, who seek employment abroad in order to send money home, and the social implications of leaving many children to look after their household. The programme also tells the story of 16-year-old Anna, who was abandoned by her mother when she was trafficked out of the country seven years ago.
