A report on the aftermath of the death of independent Uzbek theatre producer Mark Weil, Under the former Soviet regime artistic freedom existed in the Uzbek capital, Tashkent. However after independence the regime there hardened its line. The programme investigates the stabbing and killing of Mark Weil, who founded the independent Ilhom theatre. Natalya Antelava asks whether radical endeavour can survive.
