The British-born astronaut Piers Sellers has revealed that he's been diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer.
In his illustrious career, the 60-year-old flew three shuttle missions and completed six space walks. But he told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio 5 live that there is "no time for moping" after being told about his terminal illness.
He said: "I'm trying to get the absolute maximum out of the life left in me, however long that is. So I'm sort of living 20 times the normal rate now, trying to get things done at work and home. There is no time for moping."
