A primary school headteacher has written to parents asking them to stop wearing pyjamas to school.

Kate Chisholm, from Skerne Park Academy in Darlington told 5 live Drive that 鈥渕ore and more parents have been staying in their pyjamas to come to school鈥� and have even been coming to 鈥渁ssemblies and parents meetings鈥� in their nightwear.

Many parents have thanked the headteacher for stepping in, but others have responded to the request by saying 鈥渢hey鈥檒l wear their PJs all day, every day to prove a point鈥�.
