Joe Allen's interview competed with chants from exuberant players in the background.
Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen spoke to ѿý Radio 5 live minutes after his side’s Capital One Cup semi-final penalty shoot-out victory over Stoke City. His interview competed with chants from exuberant team-mates in the background singing a popular song about Kolo and Yaya Toure.
The Welshman, who scored the winning penalty, said: "Sometimes it's more exciting to get through like this...it's not good for the stress, but the atmosphere afterwards was electric".
The Reds won 6-5 on penalties after Marko Arnautovic levelled the tie for Stoke in the first half. They will play Manchester City or Everton at Wembley on 28 February.
