A snapshot of Yemen's war
The school run is usually a fairly mundane business involving half-eaten toast and the scramble to get kids out the door. But not in Yemen. Regular contributor Hisham al-Omeisy has been tweeting about ten months of Saudi airstrikes, part of the campaign against Houthi rebels. On Wednesday morning, he took his kids to school, only to rush back for them as the airstrikes intensifed. They sent us this message.
