The man behind the original series of Cold Feet, Mike Bullen, has spoken about the cast reunion for the filming of the brand new series.

The comedy drama Cold Feet ended in 2003 after five series. Speaking to 5 live's Afternoon Edition, Mike described how the actors reacted to the reunion after thirteen years, "Jimmy Nesbitt said this himself, it was odd because it felt like they had only been apart three weeks".

Mike explained to Afternoon Edition's Dan Walker why he didn't regret killing Rachel off in the original series: "I think it's because we killed her off and it had such an impact on the audience at that time, that there is still this appetite for the show to come back".
