Last Land Rover rolls off production line
The last Land Rover Defender has rolled off the production line in Britain, a victim of emission targets and safety regulations. First made in 1948, the iconic four-wheel-drive vehicle became known the world over for its off-road abilities. Malcolm Timberlake is secretary of the Land Rover Owners Club of South Africa.
