Why seawater is invading the marshes and rivers of Iraq
A huge reduction in the volume of the Euphrates and Tigris is causing the seawater of the Persian Gulf to flow into the marshes and rivers of southern Iraq, with disastrous effects. Andrew Lawler of Science magazine explains what's going on.
