My 400 mile round trip to see my mentally ill daughter
Pol Hodge has had to travel 25,000 miles in the past two years to visit his mentally ill daughter.
Chloe Hodge has had severe anxiety and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder since she was 13.
But due to a shortage of beds and a lack of out-of-hours psychiatric care in Cornwall, where the family are from, Chloe has been moved to four different mental units over the past five years.
She is currently at a unit in Pontypridd, 200 miles away from where her family live. Chloe has lost contact with her family, friends, social worker, and the carers she was familiar with. Pol says the current situation is like an "indeterminate prison sentence".
