Row over ‘smiling horse’ selfie
A photobombing horse has caused a row after her owner branded the photographer "shameful" for entering his snap into a competition he went on to win.
David Bellis, who entered - and won - a competition to win £2,000 worth of holiday vouchers, took the snap of himself and his son with the smiling horse, Betty, in the background.
Mr Bellis, who is from Prestatyn in Wales, told 5 live it was "the best photo [he] had ever taken,” but Betty’s owner believed she deserved a share of the winnings because the snap had been taken without her permission.
The horse's owner went on to complain to the holiday company, but Mr Bellis was allowed to claim the prize.
