'Gay cake' bakery begins appeal
A baking firm has begun its appeal against a ruling that it breached discrimination laws by refusing to sell a customer a cake iced with a slogan in support of same-sex marriage.
The owners of Ashers Bakery in Belfast argue that making the cake would have been against their Christian beliefs.
Gay rights and equality campaigner Peter Tatchell had initially condemned the bakery - but has changed his mind. He now says it is also important to defend freedom of expression.
The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s Chris Buckler reports from Belfast.
