Living with loss: Studio discussion
A government minister has admitted that bereavement services for families whose babies are stillborn or die shortly after birth are "not good enough".
At the moment it is up to hospital trusts to decide what kind of support they offer parents who are living with loss.
Discussing the issue with the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s Joanna Gosling were Dot Smith, head of Maternity at Medway Maritime Hospital, Judith Abela, acting chief exec of Sands charity, Antoinette Sandbach MP, whose son died when he was five days old, and Annika Dowson, whose daughter was stillborn.
