TV show map creator a 'bit of an anglophile'
Tim Ritz from Washington DC is aiming to educate the masses by combining his love of British television with his skill for graphic design.
He has created a map of Britain and Ireland with markers to indicate where some of our most famous TV shows were set or filmed.
Tim told 5 live's Chris Warburton that he considers himself to be "a bit of an anglophile," and that he loves British comedy because it's "a gateway drug to the culture".
He added that when making the map he found it "hilarious" that Highclere castle featured in Downton Abbey is "supposed to be in Yorkshire" but is actually on the south coast of England.
