'I witnessed a fatal shooting'
Marge Gordon lives in Newtown in Birmingham with her daughter Deborah, and witnessed a fatal shooting when she was looking out of her window. She'd known the victim since he was a little boy, and used to give him money to buy ice cream.
She said despite the fear she felt, there was no way she'd move out of the area, and that one of the main causes of trouble in Newtown is that young people have nothing to do.
"I was frightened, but I thought 'I'm not gonna leave my home because of that'". She explained that she thinks the boys "need a place they can go and take their frustration out [...] they are bored."
