Carl Froch: The Jump is 'too risky'
Speaking on 5 live's Friday Sports Panel, boxer Carl Froch has said that he's glad he decided not to take part in The Jump as "Everyone seems to be getting injured".
Initially Froch considered the show because he's "competitive" but then thought, "I'm gonna get injured here". "It seems very risky, very dangerous," he told Eleanor Oldroyd.
Asked about the conversations he'd had with the production team, he said:
"One of the things I didn’t like the look of [...] you sign a disclaimer [...] so if you’re injured it’s your fault."
"If you’re put out of action I don’t think you’re going to be equally compensated for your loss of time or unability to earn."
