'Black actors walk with the whole community on their shoulders'
Actor Danny John Jules - best known for playing Cat in Red Dwarf - spoke to 5 live's Dotun Adebayo about the about the Bafta blackout protest.
"When you're a black actor, you walk with the whole community on your shoulders", he said adding "When you are Benedict Cumberbatch [...] you don't have the burden."
The protest, organised by Creatives of Colour Network, took place outside the BAFTA awards ceremony at London's Royal Opera House.
