Did an extravagant party trigger the Shah of Iran's downfall?
It was the extravagant festival given by the Shah of Iran at the ancient site of Persepolis to celebrate 2500 years of the Persian monarchy. Some say this party triggered his fall from power. To mark the 45th anniversary of the event, the 蜜芽传媒 is showing the documentary Decadence and Downfall. Hassan Amini is the director.
