A reptile breeder from Australia described the moment his snake egg hatched, revealing a two-headed costal carpet python his daughter has nicknamed 鈥楾he Twin Destroyer鈥�.

John McNamara discovered the Siamese snake from his home in Wodonga after the mother gave birth to 10 babies and said he initially thought 鈥渋t might have been twins鈥�.

However, after he tried to split the serpents apart he soon realised it had 鈥渙ne body and two heads鈥�.

Mr McNamara believes it鈥檚 鈥渆xtremely rare鈥� for snakes born with the condition to survive, but hopes 鈥楾he Twin Destroyer鈥� who is doing well will 鈥渒eep on going鈥�.
