West Brom midfielder says he's "ashamed" of the club's supporters having been struck by a coin after the Baggies' exit at the hands of Championship side Reading.

Brunt approached the travelling fans to hand his jersey to a young supporter when he was hit just below the eye.

"I think it's disgusting, never in my life have I seen anything like that", said the Northern Ireland international.

Brunt added: "If anyone wants to come forward and says who's done it, they know where I am every day".
