Singer/Songwriter Frank Turner has spoken out against secondary ticketing sites and has urged his fans to reject inflated prices.

He told 5 live Investigates: 鈥榙on鈥檛 buy [them] 鈥� get onto twitter and get onto the forum on my website or just go down to the queue and make friends with people鈥�.

Turner described the secondary ticket market as 鈥榩retty frustrating鈥�. He encouraged fans to use Twitter and the forum on his website to exchange tickets for their face value. He admitted he cannot 鈥榩olice鈥� touting but said: 鈥榠f you put people together they can deal with it in a friendly way鈥�.

The Society of Ticket Agents & Retailers said: 鈥渕any customers are pleased to be able to find tickets being resold.
鈥淚t鈥檚 also important that customers who have tickets they cannot use have the means to be able to sell those on to others, particularly as tickets are not usually something that can be cancelled and refunded.鈥�
