Barcelona players make the most of their superstar status when talking to referees, according to Spanish football journalist Graham Hunter.

Hunter says the La Liga players are encouraged to manage and "work" referees by speaking to them as human beings before matches.

A Lionel Messi penalty gave Barca a 2-0 advantage over Arsenal going into the second leg at the Nou Camp.

The Telegraph's Sam Wallace believes Barca benefited from good game management.
