Married at 13: The Syrian child brides
The UN says there has been an alarming rise in the number of child brides among Syrian refugees. In neighbouring Jordan, one in three Syrian refugee brides is under eighteen.
This girl was thirteen when she was married, because her parents thought it would mean she'd be safer living with her husband in Lebanon.
She said she "wanted to be a painter […] but that dream won't be fulfilled".
The charity World Vision conducted the interview and the words are spoken by an actress.
