Pam St Clement, who spent more than 25 years playing Pat in Eastenders' says the set has just been "patched over the years".

Pam, who played Pat Butcher, told 5 live the show must move with the times and that money must be spent rebuilding Albert Square "for health and safety reasons if nothing else, the thing will fall down".
