Legendary New York studio The Magic Shop faces closure
David Bowie's last album was recorded secretly at a studio in New York called The Magic Shop. Lou Reed, Sonic Youth, Norah Jones and Coldplay are among the others who have recorded there. The studio ran for 28 years, but is threatened with closure, as owner Steve Rosenthal explains to James Menendez.
