Carl Frampton: Windsor Park fight is 'a possibility'
IBF and WBA super-bantamweight champion Carl Frampton has said that a world title defence at Windsor Park could be 'a possibility'.
The 29-year-old admitted that early discussions about holding a bout at Northern Ireland's national stadium were underway, saying "I'd love to fight at home, and fight at Windsor Park. There's already been talks about it happening, so that's one for the future."
Belfast's Frampton defeated fierce rival Scott Quigg via a split decision in Manchester on Saturday evening to add the WBA super-bantamweight title to the IBF title he already owned.
Frampton-Quigg was one of the most eagerly-anticipated domestic match-ups in recent memory, and the first time two undefeated British boxers had fought to unify a world title.
