West Brom should have let Saido Berahino leave when Tottenham offered 拢24 million for his services, former England midfielder Jermaine Jenas said.

Berahino found himself out of favour at the Hawthorns, and has only recently broke back into the first team.

"It's a shame that they weren't able to come to some kind of agreement which would enable the lad to continue with his career," Jenas told Mark Chapman on 5 live Sport.

"Don't get me wrong, he's a good player, but the numbers were pretty high."
